Roma Saleyards are the largest cattle selling facility in the southern hemisphere, seeing over 400,000 cattle a year. Auctions happen every Tuesday and Thursday morning, and are an incredible sight to see!Tours are available on sale days free of charge.

No bookings are required, simply meet at the Bull Ring area at 8.15am for an 8.30am tour commencement.


Tours are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Big Rig's Oil Patch attraction is an enjoyable relaxed way to learn about Roma's oil and gas history.

The Oil Patch is an outside display of oil and gas exploration and product equipment, explained by suitable signs and audio panels. these facilities allow the oil patch to be a self-guided experience.

This year, the Maranoa Artists Inc are hosting the Easter in the Country Art Show in the with the most welcome assistance of the Roma on Bungil Gallery Committee who are providing the venue for this prestigious event.

Most past visitors to Roma for Easter in the Country would recall that the Art Show was one of the iconic, must attend events of the weekend. After a brief hiatus, the Art Show recommenced on a small scale about four years ago and interest and participation has been increasing ever since. 2019 will see the richest Art Show in the history of Roma and the Maranoa across a range of art media. Don’t miss your opportunity to view and purchase diverse works from artists across Australia.
