The Saturday morning markets will commence at 7.00am until 2.00pm in Wyndham & Arthur Streets, Roma.
Showcasing your fantastic array of arts, crafts, wares, food or drinks at the Country Markets in Arthur Street and Wyndham Streets. Customers are sure to find something to take home. Heaps of market stalls to wander through and there will be bargains to be found.

This year, the Maranoa Artists Inc are hosting the Easter in the Country Art Show in the with the most welcome assistance of the Roma on Bungil Gallery Committee who are providing the venue for this prestigious event.
Most past visitors to Roma for Easter in the Country would recall that the Art Show was one of the iconic, must attend events of the weekend. After a brief hiatus, the Art Show recommenced on a small scale about four years ago and interest and participation has been increasing ever since. 2019 will see the richest Art Show in the history of Roma and the Maranoa across a range of art media. Don’t miss your opportunity to view and purchase diverse works from artists across Australia.

“Wataview” – Garden 1
1847 Carnavon Dev. Hwy. Roma
Directions: Travel north from Roma towards Injune for approx 18.5 KM.
Opening times: 9am – 4.30pm
Entry: Gold coin donation to Roma Branch, Cancer Council Queensland
“Wataview” is located at the bottom of the hill, on the left hand side of the road, about 400m north of the Taroom turn off.
“Wataview” is set on top of a sandstone ridge with nearly 360 degree views of the surrounding area. The garden is only about 14 years old and is on approx 1hectare. It has spacious lawns with several different feature gardens such as a running creek and pond, a succulent garden, The Secret Garden and a large free flight bird aviary. The aviary houses small parrots, finches, doves, pigeons and quail.
A canteen will operate offering morning tea, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. The canteen will also support Cancer Council Queensland.
St Kilda – Garden 2
Just a further 10.8 kilometres further north on the right side of Carnarvon Dev Hwy

“St Kilda” in a garden with a vast history. The property has been in the Brumpton family for 100 years. The garden of the original family home (built from timber off the property) had fallen into disrepair for over 35 years but in the last twelve months has been restored to the original plan with the original rose planting. The garden in the current family home is set in black soil and although the original garden has been established for many years further extensions have recently occurred. The garden is a rambling country garden (with a few resident fairies) with large lawn areas, and dotted with rustic artworks made by the owner.

The WATPAC Street Parade will proceed down McDowall Street at 9.00am on Saturday.
THEME for floats in 2019 is " BUSH COLOUR"
This annual parade show-case Charities, Businesses, Sporting and Recreational Clubs, Schools in Roma and surrounding Districts. With Floats in different shapes and sizes. This parade is a must see in Roma's Easter in the Country Festival.
LOCATION: Corner Bungil and Arthur Street, Roma.
Open to the public including a Windows Tours throughout the day, vintage car display, fresh coffee, homemade cakes and slices offered for morning tea.
Check out! The Westside Car Display
During the Street Parade and The Westside Car Display will be parked in McDowall Street from the end of the Parade.
The Westside Car Club Meet was established five years ago in Toowoomba. The Club meets monthly with over three hundred members. There is a mixture of old school cars and modern cars. All monies raised from fundraising events go to the Homeless War veterans to purchase swags, meals and clothing.
Roma's Easter In The Country Committee welcome Westside Car Club to the festival and thank them sincerely for providing a fabulous and entertaining display of Hot Wheels.
